Gathering dust

Hi everybody.

Although below post isn’t a true account of events, it’s not really fiction either.

Over the last few months I’ve noticed that Spasmically Perfect doesn’t quite feel write ( ;-) ) anymore and what has been so many things to me over the last few years, somehow no longer seems to fit.

I was considering shutting it down completely but I can’t. Too many treasured souls have left their virtual footsteps on these grounds and too many treasured moments are forever captured. Not to mention that it will always serve as a reminder of friendship in its purest and most inspirational form.

And just like a guitar that gathers dust in a corner, who knows, someday I’ll fall over it and feel – once more – inspired to play.

Until then, you know where to find me, should you wish to. And for those of you who wonder whether I’ll still come visit once in a while: stop wondering and write something so that I have a piece or two to read when I show up!

:-)

To all of you who have read and commented, THANK YOU for contributing in your all so individual ways, and for being such wonderful company along the way.

Until we meet again, take care’
and don’t forget how beautiful you are,
because you are,

LOVE, Spaz

Hm, seems some people just can’t be convinced otherwise….. ;-)

  2. You silly girl. You’re the best writer I know since JK Rowling. :) love ya and call ya soon so we can gather for dinner or something.

JK Rowling? What are you presently smoking???? Have you read any of my stuff? Not one wizard to be found! ;-)

  3. Hi Spaz,

you are the second person, in the last five minutes, number three in the last three days, that I have come seeking and found walking away. Lol, I think there is a poem in there somewhere, but it’s evading me at the moment.

Will continue to periodically check back, and am wishing you all the best on your continuing adventures.

I think there is something going on in the blogger universe, who knows, the exploration of new frontiers? ;-)

Does it Ms Red, does it? ;-)

  6. see you when you come back .. tee hee … in the meantime, i have so very much enjoyed your words, your thoughts, you! xo

I found some posts of mine that you had linked to from yours which I never had realised you had done. Seeing them there was a big part of remembering what this site used to be like. And for your contribution in this realisation I thank you.

  7. Oh, dear, dear, dear . . .
I read this post a few times and don’t quite know exactly what to say.
First of all, think how many friends you’ve made because of it.
Secondly, although I don’t visit as often as I should, do you have any idea how many people love what you write?

It’s one thing if you’re just not into it anymore. I understand that and you are free to do what you want with this beautiful place you have created. But why in God’s name would you?
Blogging will never totally make sense to anyone, why one does it, what the motivation is . . .
Personally, I would miss your unique thoughts and wonderful words.
That said, take some time for you and B.
    I will always be around.
    Count on that.
be safe, be well, be happy . . .
most of all don’t be afraid to
    still be Spaz

    ~m
