Playfulness

I saw my face
playfully twisted
by the lake’s gentle strokes
of timelessness.
Where else
can one drown
in peace and quiet
and reawake alive?
Where else
can my bare toe
erase my image
while tickling water?

That was really good. I can almost feel the water tickling my toes.
What do you mean by ‘almost’?

Lovely photo with a poem to match. The ‘gentle strokes of timelessness’ is magical.
Liked that line myself. Came out of nowhere but was meant to stay.

I feel relaxed and sleepy, just like I was the one sitting on the dock with my toes in the water and the sun on my back. Magical.
Cool. Can I serve you a drink?

reminds me of the lake while camping .. niiice!
Hope the weather will actually turn a little warmer that camping doesn’t feel like a trip in the arctic!

You brought me back 20 years with this.
My parents camp on Rocky Pond in Boylston,MA
I can see my face reflected in the pond as I write this.
Thanks for the trip.
