My life in 6 words…..

A couple of weeks ago, blogging buddy Enreal ( http://enreal.wordpress.com ) invited me to write a 6 word memoir of my life. ‘Horrofied’ at the daunting task (I can’t even create sentences that are shorter than 6 words), I decided to try.
A few days later I wrote the ‘Wrinkles’ ( http://spasmicallyperfect.wordpress.com/2008/02/28/wrinkles/ ) post which as a byroduct produced a six word summary. After having thought about it a bit more, I do feel that given where I am at now, I’m going to stick with this one for now. Knowing me, I’ll be riding the train or showering one day when out of nowhere 6 new words will attack. That will be soon enough to write another one.
So without further ado:
“Getting older. In love with wrinkles“
What would yours be?
How about:
“Beautiful soul. In love with life”?
Just a thought.
-smith
I love that thought…..
Both are wonderful Kim and Stephen!
Thank you. Didn’t know Kim was playing yet…..
Living loud, proud and still smiling.
….That’s me. Not you.
But really it doesn’t express
Did I drop you half way through your thought? I like your six words. “Still smiling” is good.
You know I am going to have to steal this idea. Yours is awesome. Mine could be x-rated.
Correction: Yours should be x-rated!
Oh, that I could embrace the wrinkles too!
Who says you can’t?
Wonderful 6 words, MsSpaaaz.
I’ll have to give it some thought.
Do I need to be scared?
I’ve seen this before and had trouble with something then. I’ll definitely give it some thought. Six words heh? Now that’s an editing job.
It’s actually fun once you get started. Definitely requires us writers to become minimalists. Some other ones that popped up:
“Can’t walk straight, life is distracting”,
“Born there, am here, going elsewhere”,
“Love to write, Live for content”
“Sidelined or playing, it’s my call”
You’ll do just fine
Family First Everything Everyone Else Afterwards.
Good day to you, long time no see. I really like your six words; simple and to the point, a clear road map. Thanks for sharing. S.
hopelessly optimistic retarded genius in making
Couldn’t help but chuckle at this one. Yes there are days I feel precisely the same.
Welcome and thanks for playing.
Should have been: “Two words for you: Shoot Smith.”
Sorry.

Hey!!!! No shooting people in my blog!!!! That is ok in certain tobacco stores but not in my house! (And no, I’m not chuckling, nor grinning, nor laughing, not even slightly tickled – aaaaaaaaa – fine! Yes, I admit it, there was a “Gees, where on Earth did I pick up these two” and a quick giggle
)

Thus spake ~m:
I have a better one: “Drop smartass Murphy from my blogroll.”
Messrs Smith and Murphy: I was just about to hold you two a lecture on behaving, when I realised that you two actually inspire each other. After all your 6 word memoirs show that. So, I’ll refrain from a lecture and wait for the day that you two won’t need ‘to bitching at each other’ (is there a male word for this?) to get your creative juices going!
Oops! Forgot the
Mustn’t forget that part.
Hm, seems Murphy might be underestimating your emoticon abilities. I think you should leave some on his blog.
Not necessarily in this order:
Eat. Shit. Sleep. Love. Laugh. Play.
Actually, that’s a pretty good list, that’s almost humanity in six words, a positive humanity that is. Thanks for playing Friar.
Aggravate the shit out of each other is more like it.

Yeah, call it what you have too
. Either way, you can’t hide.
[...] he’s asked for a 6 word memoir, which technically, I already did a few months back, when Enreal invited me to the challenge. Mr. Micheal probably forgot that, mostly because he was [...]
